Copa do Mundo de 2014

O Mundial será disputado entre 13 de junho e 13 de julho de 2014 em sua 20ª edição, no Brasil.

A Seleção Brasileira é a única equipe a ter jogado em todas as copas do mundo, somando 19 participações até o ano de 2010 e acumulando 05 títulos (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002).

O Brasil estreou em 1930 e sediou o mundial pela primeira vez em 1950, estando atualmente nos preparativos das 12 (doze) cidades sedes, recebendo pela segunda vez como anfitrião, esse importante evento mundial.

As cidades sedes são: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Brasília, Cuiabá, Manaus, Fortaleza, Salvador, Recife e Natal.

Haverá no final de julho do corrente ano o sorteio de qualificação para a Copa de 2014, que será realizado no

Rio de Janeiro na Marina da Glória. Como país anfitrião, o Brasil se qualifica automaticamente para o torneio.

Em 2013 será realizada no Brasil a

Copa das Confederações 2013, como evento teste para a Copa do Mundo de 2014.
