Toda a Palavra de Deus é pura; escudo é para os que confiam nele. (Provérbios 30:5)
A palavra de Deus é repleta de sabedoria, portanto, não há nada que se pode acrescentar, ao contrário, devemos absorver o ensinamento tal como a inspiração para que nenhuma mentira ou erro seja proferido.
Nada poderemos ser atingidos, nem mesmo pela arma mais potente do inimigo se estivermos de posse da palavra do Senhor, a qual nos servirá de um poderoso e impenetrável escudo para desespero e vergonha dos nossos opressores.
