Esportes: Libertadores 2013.

O time brasileiro, Atlético Mineiro venceu o Newell's Old Boys nos pênaltis por 3 a 2, após uma vitória por 2 a 0 no tempo regulamentar, jogando no estádio Independência, na cidade de Belo Horizonte, Estado de Minas Gerais.

O Atlético agora vai jogar a final da Libertadores 2013 contra o time do Olímpia do Paraguai. Essa é a primeira vez que o time mineiro chega a uma final da Libertadores, sendo essa a quinta vez que participa da competição.

O primeiro jogo da final será em Assunção, no dia 17/07/2013 e o segundo será em Belo Horizonte, no dia 24/07/2013, no estádio Independência. A exigência para jogos da final é que a capacidade de público nos estádios não seja inferior a 40.000 espectadores, mas, mesmo o Independência tendo capacidade máxima para até 23.018 pessoas, a diretoria do Atlético tentará realizar o jogo no mesmo.

Jogou 04 (quatro) vezes com o Olímpia, empatando por 03 (três) vezes, sendo um empate por 2 a 2, e dois empates por 0 a 0 e vencendo um vez por 1 a 0.
